SIR REGINALD’S LOGBOOK Author-illustrator Matt Hammill has created a tongue-in-cheek adventure story where fantasy and reality merge, with hilarious results. The eponymous hero is an armchair explorer on a quest for a Lost Tablet of Illusion, stolen by an elusive beast. Sir Reginald’s quest takes the reader on a journey through figments and flights of fancy on one hand, and through his mild-mannered home life on the other. Sir Reginald’s Logbook reminds us that the imagination is the most powerful charm of all.
MATT HAMMILL is a writer, illustrator and computer animator. His work has appeared in such publications as Ryerson Review of Journalism, Chickadee and Cottage Life. Hammill currently works as an animator at Guru Studio in Toronto. He is a graduate of Sheridan College. Sir Reginald’s Logbook is his debut book.

IRENE M. LUXBACHER is an artist, author, educator and illustrator.. She teaches at the Avenue Road Arts School in Toronto and serves as visual arts consultant at The Royal Conservatory of Music. Luxbacher’s visual art has been exhibited in galleries across North America. She is the author of The Jumbo Book of Art, which won the 2003 National Parenting Publication Award, and The Jumbo Book of Outdoor Art. Her most recent project for Kids Can Press is the Starting Art series.
CLAUDIA DEY is a playwright, novelist and columnist. Several of her plays have been produced internationally. Notable amongst these are Beaver, Trout Stanley and the Governor General’s– and Trillium Award–nominated The Gwendolyn Poems. Dey is a graduate of McGill University and the National Theatre School. She also writes the popular "Group Therapy" column for The Globe & Mail. Her debut novel, Stunt received popular and critical acclaim.
